La Boca, Buenos Aires!

After christmas at the beach we headed back to Buenos Aires for a night before heading off again.

Helen and myself spent the day shopping in La Boca, a poor district of Buenos Aires that is brought alive by its colouful houses and people. The houses are painted with let over paint from the boats that dock in the river mouth (hence the term, La Boca) and are an electric mix of all possible colours.
